Ohhh how I loved paper dolls when I was little! Do you want to know a secret I still do! Years ago before personal computers were even a thought: there were paper dolls. Sitting on a floor cutting out my paper Barbie with her beautiful full dresses and pencil skirts, and let me not forget my National Velvet cut out doll. She had a strong resemblance to Elizabeth Taylor who played in the movie when she was a young girl.
A few years later I would still be on the floor but cutting out my own handmade Paper dolls. I would sketch out the beautiful ladies that graced the Sears and J.C. Penny catalogs and created my own dresses with color pencils and paint.
Nothing has really changed I still have a major infatuation with paper and paint that has brought me delight in each and every project I complete.
